Labeled a Rural Municipality (No. 491), Buckland sits just above the North Saskatchewan River. The municipality extends past Spruce Home and includes a portion of the Sturgeon Lake Reserve. With a population of more than 3,600 people, Buckland houses the communities of Albertville, Henribourg, Redwing and Spruce Ho, among others. The area is considered a desirable location for country residential living, while also a haven for outdoor enthusiasts.
